A HOUSE IN THE OLD TOWN OF OSTUNI

The name Chianca, as for our other houses in the old town of Ostuni, is because the house is entirely in Apulian stone and Grande because it is a large and spacious house with two bathrooms, very comfortable for hosting two groups of friends or a family. The house, fully air-conditioned, was renovated in 2022 enhancing the typical characteristics of Apulian architecture such as the use of exposed stone and the star vault. Even the furnishings reflect the typical Apulian style. The house, equipped with everything needed for short and long stays, has an independent entrance and is spread over two levels and has a bedroom with bathroom and large living area with bathroom, kitchenette and alcove with sofa bed; it also has a balcony and terrace, both with a view of the characteristic alley below and the sea of ​​Ostuni.

LIVING ROOM with ALCOVE: The living area is located on the first floor which is accessed by a staircase with stone walls: it reflects the characteristics of the typical Ostuni houses, the “casedde“, being formed by a hall, an alcove and a cammarino, a smaller room. The room has vaulted ceilings and is large and very bright because it has a balcony and continues with the alcove, the bedroom of the past, in which there is a large sofa bed for two guests with a walk-in closet; in the room there is also the dining table and the kitchenette. Where the cammarino used to be, there is now the bathroom with walk-in shower, comfortable and spacious. The living area leads to the upper floor where the bedroom is located.

BEDROOM: The bedroom is very suggestive because it is completely set in stone: you will feel like you are sleeping inside a cave!!! Even the furniture is suggestive and reflects the colors of our land of Puglia. The bedroom has a bathroom on the floor which makes it perfect and comfortable.

TERRACE: From the access staircase to the bedroom there is also access to the double terrace overlooking the alley below and the sea of ​​Ostuni. The terrace has a counter equipped with sink and induction hob and is perfect for a breakfast in the morning, for an aperitif at sunset, for a romantic dinner overlooking the white roofs of Ostuni. Finally, the solarium equipped with deck chairs to enjoy the Ostuni sun overlooking the sea and the White City with an extra feature: your own piece of moon, a fantastic mood light and a rocking chair too!
